Reflections on
my years at Cal
I attended
Cal from 1986 - 1991 finishing up with a Bachelor's Degree in Applied
Mathematics and French Language & Literature. My first two years in
the dorms were quite memorable, living in Norton Hall. The best thing
about eating at the DC was Sunday Turkey Tetrazzini. My favorite place to
study was Bechtel Library, but all I ever did was stare at photographs of the
world's bridges. Some of my favorite classes were English 1A & 1B;
Russian 1 & 2; and Social Dance 1, 2 & 3. (Why don't they have
anything to do with my majors?)
I haven't
stepped foot in Berkeley since I left on July 31, 1991. As I was driving
out, the police were driving in, to handle the riots at People's Park due to the
Volleyball courts they were putting up.
The best way
I keep in touch with Berkeley is through my friends, or through football and
basketball!
